Turbovent’s range of turbine ventilators provide ventilation for homes and industrial buildings, with no electricity costs. We also offer expert installation of all our turbine ventilators.
A turbine ventilator is a round mental vent with fins, usually mounted on a roof.
How turbine ventilators work?
Even a gentle breeze causes it to spin. This extracts stale, humid or polluted air, along with smoke, odours and fumes, from inside a building, causing fresh, clean air to enter in its place.
The turbine ventilators we offer
We offer general turbine ventilators, a premium home roof ventilator and a range of specialised ventilators – including ventilators for installing in chimneys and flues and industrial ventilators for extracting smoke, odours and vapours.
Our range of turbine ventilators is made from high- quality materials, to international standards.
How to select a turbine ventilator?
Turbovent’s extensive range of turbines allow you to find the perfect turbine for your application. Higher roofs generally require larger diameter turbines, whilst lower roofs require smaller turbines to allow even ventilation over the entire roofed area.
Coloured tiles on the roofs of homes are usually best suited to the SupaVent range which are available in a variety of colours to match the roof. A range of materials is also available from UV stabilised plastic to metal turbines. Lightweight aluminium turbines offer a performance and corrosion advantage over heavier galvanised metal turbines.
Turbovent has trained technicians who are able to assist in selecting and sizing the right turbine for you.
Cost and environmental benefits
Turbine ventilators are a “green” and cost-effective solution for ventilating spaces. They don’t use any electricity to run and require no maintenance.
In summer, turbine ventilators extract heat, helping reduce air-conditioning bills.
In winter, roof ventilation systems also vent moisture-laden or overly humid air. This can help protect building structures and people’s health; too much moisture can deteriorate structures and promote mould growth in attic spaces.
Year round, turbine ventilation clears out airborne contaminants and replenishes oxygen levels in the air, creating a fresh, healthy environment.
